The Observatory is under the management of the Ministry of Tourism and the local Goverment (Bupati), and Head of Tourism Department. To implement the program, the Observatory coordinates with head villages, local partners, local working groups, local NGOs and the local people.

MISSION

To develop Lombok Barat Regency to be a qualified sustainable tourist destinationand to develop sustainable criterias by adopting local wisdom (genius) in order to make the destinations replicable on other tourist destinations for sustainability and positve impacts to all stakeholders.

Current Monitoring Processes

Monitor activities and local participation in three villages, carried out together with community services (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) in Sesaot Village, Buwun Sejati Village and Pakuan Village.
